FOOD

All of our food is home-made and cooked to order in a small kitchen. We are proud to serve Herdwick lamb from Will Benson's Town Head farm in Grasmere. Our menu has a range of choice for those who are vegetarian, vegan or gluten free.

Breakfast is 9.30am - 10.30am and lunch & dinner are served 11.30am - 8pm / 8.30pm at weekends. Please book a table by clicking the button. We strongly recommend booking a table in the evening. We only reserve inside tables.

Allergen information is listed for each dish below. If you have an allergy, please speak to a member of staff when ordering.  We have a very small kitchen, and both we and our suppliers work with all 14 major allergens. Whilst we do our utmost to avoid cross-contamination when preparing dishes for customers with allergies, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

DRINKS

All of our lager, ale, cider and gin are made by Grasmere Brewery. It is all brewed by hand, at Lake View Farm, Grasmere.

Grasmere Brewery was founded in 2018. Small & experimental, we love making what we love to drink. As a tiny village brewery, we don’t have any production targets to meet. We ferment whatever we like: from beers to cider, to premium spirits. Everything is made by hand, here in Grasmere, with good quality ingredients.

We are also part of this community. This is our home. We live and work here. The money that you spend here isn’t sent to some big corporation overseas: it helps the Lake District economy. With some old stainless tanks, friendship, and sheer enthusiasm, we have survived the trials of being a start-up business - and COVID - and we are now busy and thriving. We hope that you enjoy our work. Cheers
